I looked up living in Japan and apparently they are always looking for English teachers! It seems pretty easy to apply and as long as you have done a uni or college degree you are eligble. It’s a very interesting idea because not only do they offer 1 year contracts but most of the employers will sponsor you for your working visa :)
I think this would be a grrrrreat way to fulfil this goal.
I went to Japan for a 2 week holiday back in 2008 and fell in love with it! I love the people, the food, the lifestyle, the public transport haha. And I would love to move there for a year, work and learn the language. It makes me excited thinking about it!
