go on a romantic weekend away

I’ve just had an epiphany on this goal. For some reason I thought that a “romantic weekend away” had to be some expensive extravaganza. Pfft! So not the case! As long as we are together, I think that is what makes it fun and full of luuuurve. And seeing as we are both looking to keep the budget tight this year, I think the cheaper, the better.

I’m now looking into affordable caravan parks that have cabins available and are right next to the beach. Delightful :D

Potential getaway for S’s birthday next March…

Well I ended up telling him about my idea and he seems very keen. So I will show him the website to the hotel and maybe we can book it soon. Yay!!!

Our two year anniversary is coming up and I would love to go across to this Island just off the coast for the weekend. I have looked into hotels and I have found a nice (but slightly expensive) one. It includes the accommodation, ferry transfers, 2 breakfasts, 1 dinner and in-house movies. Sounds like a good deal to me. I am still deciding whether to organise it as a surprise, or tell him about it so that we can split the cost and have it as a joint present to each other.
