- Purchased a few more things at Akihabara.
- Went to a sumo tournament. I loved it, so different from any other sport we have in Australia.
- Making some friends from the hostel and going out for a looooong night on the town. We didn’t get back to the hostel until 7am. Yikes! But it was worth it…even if we do waste a day recovering.

- It snowed all day today in Tokyo! It was so amazing. It started off really lightly and then before we knew it, heavy snow! It was so fun to crunch around holding umbrellas. Thank you Tokyo!
- After the snow had stopped in the evening we went for a stroll through the nearby temple and I made a snow cat. Such a beautiful day.

- Enjoying one last soak in the onsen before heading to Fukuoka. I had a whole outdoor onsen to myself! It was magical to sit in the warm water and gaze out at the trees and blue winter sky.
- Absolutely loving our Fukuoka hostel. It’s this amazing old Japanese house with corridors and rooms every which way and we have a view into a Japanese garden courtyard from our window. Divine!
- Being astounded by the huge shopping village, Canal City. Oh…the money I could spend here…
