Volunteer

So I auditioned for the volunteer role of reading via broadcast to the blind. I didn’t realize what a competitive arena it is for this kind of volunteer work (after all it is free) :). Of course I am more than willing to read to the blind one on one which requires no special talent. They should be calling me back within a week or two to let me know if they can use me for broadcast. I want to start in August no matter what in some kind of volunteer reading for the blind.

I am so excited about this. I think it is a brilliant way for me to touch other peoples lives and help them. I can’t wait to get started after my wedding reception this weekend. :)
