knit a sweater

I bound off the needles and sewed all the seams yesterday! Now all that’s left is the dreaded weaving in of the ends. :( I want to wear it to work Weds for Halloween, though, so I’ll get there. I’m so happy and it fits perfectly. It’s a sweater, and I made it!

i have the front and back connected at the shoulders, and the left sleeve done. i picked up the stitches for the right arm and knitted about an inch, so about 19 more sleeve inches to go! then to sew all the seams and weave in the ends. the worst part.
i want it done by halloween!

I finished the front of the skully sweater. The shoulders are held on stitch holders and I have to begin the back. Right now I’m caught up in small projects as going away gifts, but I want the whole sweater to be done for winter or fall.

Several scarfs, hats, a pair of hand warmers, wristbands, drink cozies, baby booties, and more. Still thinking about tackling that sweater. I have yarn for the skully sweater from SnB. I’ll start it one of these days.

I sort of gave up on that first sweater attempt. The yarn was mohair, so it was difficult for me to work with. I think I might try a tank top with a little intarsia. Thanks Stitch and Bitch Nation!

i started my first sweater. i am working on the back piece, and i’m about 3 or 4 inches up. but i already have a small hole from the last row where i somehow lost and picked up a stitch, but didn’t pick it up right. also, i thought i started by casting on 48 stitches to make a small, but i must have decided to make a medium because i have 50 stitches.

I have finished the alien illusion scarf, and gave it to my boyfriend for his birthday. He loved it and wished it was cold enough to wear already. I am so happy with how it turned out, I might try a more complicated project. Still working my way up to the sweater.

i’m taking small steps. i’m working on a scarf that is coming along much better and quicker than i expected. that is encouraging.

i can knit, purl, and make stripes.
