Live in Vancouver

So Vancouver and eating is one of the reasons why. Vancouver and the False Creek ferry taxi is another. Vancouver and the lush tropical gardens is another reason why. The rhododendrons is a huge reason why. But now, a big new reason why is the possibility of working at a university that does all kinds of creatively technical things with their catalogues and metasearch. Wistfully envious sigh.

Lush, warm, sunny and rainy, tropical, urban, hip, foodie, culture, and still Canadian.

Why doesn’t everyone want to live there? I know I certainly do.

One day I’m just going to give up Ottawa altogether (the cold, the winter, the blistering summer humidity, although that’s altogether not too bad), for the lush tropics of the coast. Yup, the ocean’s where it’s at for me.
