make a friend

simple and plain.. never had any real ones. they always flaked on me or turned out to be someone completely different then what i expected. i consider myself to be an excellent friend but my oportunites to make them are few and far between. and when the opportunity does present itself…it never goes any longer than a year… and thats the longest. i think i set myself up for failure though because i get in over my head when i first meet them thinking this is gonna be great were gonna be buddies. but their expectations are always just either not caring to be friends or not wanting to put forth the effort to start a friendship. i dont want just ‘friends’ i desire wholesome, godly friendships that last a lifetime.
