create an altered book

when i first made this goal i was aiming for more of a themed picture book, but my first completed, altered book is a hollow book made from Charles Kuralt’s America. i bought the book years ago, but never read it and as i was slicing the pages out, i kept getting caught by his stories. maybe i need to re-buy this one…

i’ve been filling a blank book with pictures, stories, quotes, hair (my first gray haha) and whatever else tickles my fancy. its not quite an art project as much of a collection of my amusements, but i do love it very much…
