I just did the Total Training lesson on Layers. How cool! It’s like having a superpower! Can’t wait to put this into practice.

One of the things I wanted to learn how to do was to construct panoramas from multiple photos. Here are my first two! The one of the drawbridges I just added to my previous entry was made from three photos spanning about 90 degrees. The one here of the double unrep with the aircraft carrier and the other MSC ship was constructed out of 3 photos spanning about 120 degrees. I’ve discovered that the less overlap there is, and the more angle you’re spanning, the harder this is. I’m happy with the results, though!

Here’s my first panorama!

I just started working through the “Total Training” DVDs and they are great. Very comprehensive, and fun! You get stock photos that match the ones that the instructor is working on, so you can follow along and do what he’s doing.
This goal is connected to one of my other goals to “Create a second stream of income in 2007” as I plan to begin selling my photography (and other artwork) through Cafepress.com.
