learn to sew

The gloves were okay, but I tried to make them a little to detailed and I messed up in connecting some of the pieces together (not too noticeable unless you look up close)

I’m working on a doll of my fursona to give to my friend in Canada right now. I was going to make her a kimono, but my printer ran out of ink and the pattern got all messed up. (and it was sort of complicated) I used some plain leftover fabric to start it and I was going to use nicer fabric once I figured it out… but the half-made one in the plain fabric looks neat. (She looks like a psych ward patient, so I’m gonna make her some socks and just roll with it)

I started making a glove/armwarmer as my first project. This sewing machine stuff is very cool. =)

Bought a $300 sewing machine the other day and spent 2 hours today messing with it and learning how it works.

Now to buy thread and fabric. . .

Boyfriend’s mom is letting me borrow an old 1961(?) sewing machine to learn on. Yay!
