Smile back! — 1 year ago
Very, very often, I see people walking down the street that just look amazingly grumpy. As a result, they usually seem very ugly as well, which is probably not fair to them because they just seem unhappy. If they happen to be coming towards me, I always try to smile and make eye contact with them, trying to persuade them to smile back and look beautiful. Disappointingly, this hardly ever works: most of them don’t notice me or look at me with annoyance. I like to think that those who do smile back actually also have this goal on their list :)
