Poor Don Quixote has been sitting on a shelf above my computer for ages, sitting sadly, waiting for my triumphant return…
I think that when I’m done with my current novel, I’ll pick him back up. It should be appropriate inspiration for my NaNoWriMo novel, particularly since I wanted to use Don Quixote as a character in my story. I can’t do that without shame if I haven’t actually finished the book first…

I found another book to read. I didn’t plan to start it yet, but it was sunny out, and I was just sitting there waiting for the bus, and there was a tree to lean against, and one thing led to another and I opened the cover.
So.
This may be okay. Don Quixote is large, cumbersome, and not really designed for carting back and forth wherever I go. This hardbound is smaller and more durable. It is my new “go with me” reading, and I will leave Don Quixote for at-home reading. Now I just need to get into the habit of reading at home again, instead of spending all my time on World of Warcraft…

I started this last week, finally. It’s been sitting on my bookshelf for weeks, staring at me, saying “read me, read me!”
I’m on page 167 now and loving it. I can’t stop laughing, although how anyone can recieve as many beatings as that unfortunate man has in 167 pages is beyond me.
