sell on eBay

Well, I don’t think I have anything more to say about this goal. Now that the weather is better it has become easier to find inventory and I would rather do this than write about it.

LibraryThing has continued to be very helpful in weeding out my bookcases. Over the past month or so I’ve sold about a dozen books on Amazon Marketplace. They were a better “fit” for Amazon than EBay. Plus March 10th is the next BIG library sale in my area. So things should be picking up soon.

Yes, it is winter and the yard sales are lagging. However, I’ve been working on cataloging my personal library with LibraryThing so I’ve also been taking the opportunity to weed out my bookcases for some potential EBay sales. Also, in February there is a big library sale where I hope to pick up a fair amount of inventory.

This is my slowest time of the year for my Ebay business. Mainly because of the lack of yard sales. Plus, most people do not generally buy used books for Christmas presents! So, right now I focus on doing book research. I’ve found that there are certain children’s books (old Star Wars series) that can be VERY valuable.

Yes, I am going to do a good amount of work on my Ebay business this weekend,,,,on Saturday one of the local libraries is having a huge book sale. So, I hope to be able to pick up at least 25-30 books for resale. I’ve been at this sale before and it is usually very good. And even if I weren’t involved in Ebay I still love going to book sales! In fact, if I pick up 30 books for Ebay, I’m sure I’ll have another 30 for my personal library,,

,,,about 2 years ago, i started selling books on ebay,,,i’ve done it off and on when i’ve had time,,,now i am “semi” retired (work part time) and i plan to devote more time to my ebay business,,,i don’t think of it as “work” because i really enjoy it,,,,
