create ATC cards (artist trading cards)

I’ve really been focusing my time on scrapbooking but I have not given up on this goal.

Have not done any ATCs lately but I have completed 5 scrapbook pages in the past month so I’ll give myself some credit there.

I recently made two scrapbooks pages about my grandson and his parents. They were a “Max and Mommy” and “Max and Daddy” theme. So then I took 3 small photos and made ATC bookmarks for all of them,,,:-)

I made a scrapbook page of a day at the beach that I spent with a friend. Then I used the same paper and embellishments to make an ATC for her. She really seemed to like it but I forgot to take a picture before I gave it away.

Yes, I have managed to give away one more ATC. I made it specifically for a friend of mine who is a real cat lover. She liked it very much,,,:-)

Yes, I did manage to give away one of my ATCs. Well, it is Christmas, after all,,,
I made one specifically to put as a gift card in a present for one of my dear friends. I very cleverly made it to look like a present and I’m attaching a pic that I took before I put it in the package. If the quote is not readable to you it says “Every day is a gift. That’s why it’s called ‘the present’”. So, there you are. I have some free time this week so I will be busily making more. It’s a really enjoyable way to create little pieces of art.

BUT, I have not kept up with the spirit of ATCs. I have not given ANY away. Oh, dear, what a selfish, selfish ATCer I am! I LIKE them! I like having them around and looking at them and saying “I made this pretty thing”. Well, my goal is to “create” ATCs. Did I say anything about giving them away????? Maybe once I build up a “backlog” I’ll be able to convince myself to part with some. Maybe. Some day. At some point in this century.
