the dogs had been waiting for this all day. i wanted to take them out but had no leash. i need a leash. and someone to take control of it. so i waited until someone took all three of us for a walk. the dogs run around the empty golf course. the sun came down. he pointed out the tree where the fairies live. and showed me the orange moon.

last week i had a computer that i didn’t understand and with an OS way out of date, an mp3 player that wouldn’t work with my computer and a whole lot of other tech-related grief.

this week, updated my os, found a hack to make my mp3 thingy work, loaded up a whole load of music and walked all the way to work singing along to my favourite tunes.

ahhhh. THAT made me happy.

i have been quite remiss with this goal. actually, i’ve just been bad at reporting, cos i have actually been finding one thing each day that makes me happy. it’s just that for the last couple of weeks it has been the same thing:
london, beautiful london, shining under the soft winter sun, glowing under the moon, glittering the night away.
