recycle more

The bin is set up for my soda cans and all is going well. My kids are also doing this now and are getting into a routine. Instead of going out an buying a bin, I used an ols sterofoam cooler and lined it with a Huge heavy duty plastic bag from Tiger Direct. So not only did I save money on the bins but I recycled old stuff to make the bins and feel better about it.

Next recycling is plastic. Milk jugs, soda bottles, etc. Give you an update in a few days.

I have to admit that my husband and I are soda junkies. In a weeks time we can each go through about 36 cans of soda. I guess one of my goals should be to cut back or stop drinking soda huh? Anyways, up until now, all that has gone in the landfill. There hasn’t been a recycle center around here at all. Well, I just found one in a city about 15 miles away. I wish I could find one that would pay you per pound to recycle! I’m trying to do everything I can to get money in my account.

So tomorrow, I’ll start my recycling of cans here at the house. I also want to recycle milk jugs. I have 5 children and go through a galoon a day. I think my family is producing way to much trash! Anyway, Will start the bins for cans and milk jugs tomorrow. Then I willl update and let you know how it’s working out and what’s next.
