make my own greeting cards

and since we have about what 10 days or so of this year left, I guess I can now put this goal to bed.

This has been alot of fun, and I’ve had great feedback from friends and family who recieved a RAK Creation or “Designed by Hine” cards. Even got my sons into the joy of making their own cards for their friends, and teachers.

I’ll probably do this again next year, but I’m taking it off my list for now :O)

it’s kinda a combined goal, because I made all the cards for the 43things crad exchange, and I’m having so much fun, I decided that I would make them very “Aussie” and so I wrote a poem for the inside and then couldnt ge it just right, so my husband chipped in, and then I took photos for the fronts of some of the cards, so you’ll all see Aussie Christmas is way different.

I made over 30 today!

I just made two really pretty cards, one to a pal in Kentucky, her birthday and an Anniversary card for my first ever pal in Germany… I sealed them up and posted them in a hurry and d’uh… forgot to take pics of them yet again!!!!!!

Will put a big sticker on my work space to remind me to do pics!

I made two birthday cards and a wedding card which I think was probably my best yet, and stupid, silly me, forgot to take pics of them…. blah!
One card went in the mail locally to a Mum of a kindergarden friend.
Another went to a pal in Italy and the wedding card went to my sister who obviously lost my address since we were not invited to the wedding..oh well, their loss not mine, I still had a wonderful weekend.

May is a busy card month so I’ll have more updates on this challenge and I’ll remember to bring the pics next time!

And I’m having so much fun with it, I doubt I’ll ever buy a shop brought card again! I’ve gotten a really good response to the cards I’ve sent out as well, and even have my children wanting to make their own cards, bingo!
