because I do this everyday, I don’t know if writing a joural is the same as writing memoirs but to me it is. I’ve got volumes of them stored away, maybe some day my kids will want to read them until then, this goal can be filed as “Done”
~Lady-of-Shalott~Countess Purrs Like a Kitten has written 9 entries about this goal
of course like this week, some days are better reading than others and some I just forget…
This weeks dramas all center on MMC MS 15 and 3/4’s who fell in indoor cricket on Tuesday night and broken her collarbone, that was an injury ridden game, I got smacked in the chin with the ball..then collided with my batting partner, and then MMC broken her collarbone, another Mother and daughter team on the opposing side hit the ball into each other and OUCH my eyes filled with tears that must have hurt… I think I will not play again next season!
Although some days are not as thrilling as others, but it’s all in there, my likes, dislikes, my tears and rage hey, I even wrote a poem!
The day (today) we were riding along a country Road in Gisborne Victoria, on Bette Beemer (BMW 1150 RS) and all of a sudden The Bloke slams on the brakes and I look over his shoulder as he swerves and Bingo, we’re face to face with a HUGE Grey Roo. Luckily The Bloke had been travelling slow enough to easily stop and so we didn’t do any damage to us or him, but the funny bit was the big Old Roo, stood nearly as tall as we were on the back of the Bike, and he gave us the filthiest look as if to ask “What are YOU doing on my road?”
Of Course we were both wondering the same thing about him, it was too early for Roos.
Info on the Grey Roos:
The Eastern Grey Kangaroo (Macropus giganteus) is a marsupial found in southern and eastern Australia, with a population of several million. Although a big Eastern Grey male typically weighs around 66 kg (145 lb.) and stands almost 2 m (6 ft.) tall, the scientific name, Macropus giganteus (gigantic large-foot), is misleading, as the Red Kangaroo of the semi-arid inland is larger.
Everyday and sometimes like on this weekend I’m doing it a few times a day.
Also Cheryl Richardson wants us to journal regularly and I’m working through her program so it’s all interconected.
a little bit each night and or morning before I sleep or before the day gets too busy.
Adding little snippets like weather, my weight loss/gain, and my general frame of mood… I’m finally being good at this goal :D)
and I’m going to tie it in with 43things as well, by printing off a list of all my goals so I can add it to my journal and start working on them daily in one form or another.
I also printed off my favourite poem “Lady of Shalot” by Tennyson.
I’d started this on my 30th birthday and went backwards as far as I could remember. Now I’m startiung it today going back a little bit but mostly forward and wil keep adding to it as I go. Which reminds me I want a photo to add of me today as I am.
I plan to hand them all over to my children as they get old enough to appreciate his stuff, especially the Pregnancy diaries that I kept for each child. So that even though they think I don’t want or love them right now, they’ll be able to read back and see how much they were wanted and loved and drooled over.
Reading Bridget Jones diary made me realise tat It doesnt always have to be the good stuff that’s added, it can be just anything at all…. and my mind is full of “anythings at all” most of the time!
So that I could have a detailed revew of my life in case my children were interested.
I also have a detailed pregnancy journal for all four of the kids I’ve given birth to.
I must dig out all my scribbles and get them typed up nicely and update what’s happened since then.
