meet people

I really don’t know why, I can’t seem to meet new people. I’m not a whiner I’m just stating the fact, I am unable to meet any new people, why? Yes! I’m shy and breaking out of this, and I know it takes time, but I’m putting myself out there and still nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Will I be accepted? For being myself? Strange huh? I’m a introvert, I think it’s nearly impossible for me to meet people. I mean I know people from work but don’t do much outside of work with anyone. Growning up I had a small close group of friends, once I moved that was it.

2nd update, Ok I set this goal for myself only yesterday and I’m making a attempt to make the first step. Joined a website….ok coward your thinking! but its the first step atleast. Friendship.com.au wonder if I may find anyone I knew growing up there? If you try it look me up same user name as here.

3nd update…what a flake huh! trying “friends4days.com” they send you a blind e-mail addresses every 4 days and you make contact not knowing anything about that person only username and e-mail address. You have no idea where they are from, how old they are or what they look like. The whole idea is to get to know them first. Guess it’s worth a try, can never meet to many people.

4th and the way it’s going may not be my last on this subject. lol I just found a website called “MEETUP” no it’s not a dating site, it a list of local groups where I can finally meet local people! Signed up with 2 different groups, it’s a local start anyways!
