Or at least I feel that way.
Just quizzed myself on all 50 capitals and I got them all right! Well, I spelled Montpelier (which is the capital of Vermont) wrong. But I didn’t mark off for spelling. :oP
I guess the real test will come in 6 months from now…I wonder if I’ll still have them memorized by them. Here’s hoping so.
I didn’t think this would be so easy.
{Yea, me!}

Chuggin' Along

I’ve been studying.
Was having trouble with Oregon and North Dakota, whose capitals are Salem and Bismarck, respectively. Now having trouble with South Carolina and South Dakota. I keep wanting to say that Olympia is the capital of South Carolina…even though I know that it is really the capital of Washington. And whenever I think of the capital of South Dakota (Pierre) I want to name the capital of North Dakota.
Confused?
I kinda of am too!
Still, now that I’ve got all the other states down, I should have these little problems straightened by the weekend.

Okay…so I’ve memorized Alabama through Maryland. Had some trouble with Connecticut’s capital (which is Hartford) Delaware’s capital (which is Dover), and Kentucky’s capital (which is Frankfort). I’m pretty amazed by my progess. I don’t consider myself a person with a good memory but I’m confident that I’ll have these capitals licked by the end of the week! I’m going to give myself a test…and later amaze people with my brillance! LOL!
Why am I so excited by this?

All fifty states and their capitals…I think that this is something that I should know. Yesterday, I wrote them all down, but have yet to start committing them to memory.
I think that the easiest way to start would be learning 10 sets of capitals at a time. I’ll start the first batch today.
