Broccoli and Potato Soup

Split Pea Soup

It’s been noticeably cooler the past few days – perfect soup weather! The Boy was in the mood for pea and ham. We tried this recipe, and I must admit I wasn’t too impressed… The smoked ham hock made it VERY salty. Perhaps this will be better if one just used plain ham? I don’t know, but I doubt I’ll be making this again any time soon…
