• Nicola, who isn’t only a fair and just boss, but also a treasured friend.
• Good game of fetch with the kids this afternoon. We really had fun :)
• A clean house – bliss…
• The engineer phoned tonight, after I told him in no uncertain terms that I’m bad news and he should stay away _{(for his own good…)}. I think the word I’m looking for is perseverance? ;)

Today I am thankful for every bully I’ve ever encountered in the workplace, and I’m thankful for every colleague who’s ever back-stabbed me. At the time, I didn’t realise that it had to happen in order for me to become stronger. NOW I know that it doesn’t really matter what comes my way – I can handle it.

• My salary finally being paid! _{About time…}
• Having a warm dog body to cuddle up to in the afternoon for our nap.
• Playing outside as the sun set.

• Today I’m proud of myself for doing the right thing in a potentially difficult situation at work.
• My two dogs – they love me so :)
• Slowly but surely figuring out what the hell is going on inside my head… It is quite a scary place sometimes…

• Listening to South Africans’ response to Obama’s acceptance speech on the radio. Some people were moved to tears. Let’s hope…
• Lying outside in the garden on the lawn that was finally mowed today! I gave Toffie a good brushing – pure joy :)
• Call from Quen – his work is sending him to Edinburgh for two weeks!!! How fantastic is that??? Can’t wait to see him tomorrow :D
• Today was just a really good day. Wonderful weather, good conversations, the problems at work seem to be sorting themselves out. I’m thankful :)

• The light in my room this morning when I went upstairs to get something. It was just after sunrise and a soft pinkish shade…
• Playing ball with the kids out in the garden. Summer in the air.
