travel more

very excited about next years travel plans. need to speak to mentor about fundraising now.

in scotland and having a great time, doing lots of exploring.

back from deployment with the royal navy university unit, went to belgium and places in the uk that i have never been before, was great. Off to brmingham on thursday for a meeting, yorkshire thursday evening, and then to scotland on friday for a week, plus i went to london a couple of days ago. All in all, lots of movement and fun travels:)

planning expeditions for the wasps..yippee!

thinking and dreaming of my expedition, and feeling how much more real it is. Definitely going to pursue this, whatever.

and I am also really appreciating what it means to live in Great Britain and just how beautiful it is, so travel includes learning more about my own country!

Definitely wanting to do more of this. Seriously neglected. But am hoping to join a BSES expedition in 2010, am doing lots of stuff with the URNU, and through WASPS I also have some things planned. I have learnt over the past few months that I need to get a balance between working and studying and doing things that remind me I am alive and living and making the most of being alive, travel is definitely one of those things..and a great big dangling carrot to being stuck indoors studying!
