Whoa…did you know this:
So everytime you donate blood the bloodbank would get:
1 red blood cell unit
1 unit of platelet
1 unit of plasma
…follow me? So here is how many each takes:
Automobile Accident
- up to 50 Units of Red Blood Cells
Organ Transplant Recipient
- up to 40 units of RBC
- 30 of Platelet
- 25 of Plasma
I found this fact here: http://bloodbanker.com/plasma/centers/automated-blood-donation-the-noob-explaination/
spread the word that blood donation is VERY important.

So I decided that yesterday was the day that I was going to give blood. I found out that giving blood after you exercise isn’t the best idea, I had just gone for a long run and it was VERY hot in Chicago yesterday! I ended up going to this place: http://www.bloodbanker.com/plasma/centers/university-of-illinois-medical-center/

Hi,
I’m going to give blood and its been a real long time since I did it…I’m a little scared at the ascpet of a needle in my arm, but I know its for a good cause and the blood donation will help many people.
This site: http://bloodbanker.com has many local donation centers to go to.
