Yes, I still have debt after 2 years. It’s all down to the Premiere Miles card now and I hope to clear it soon. At the rate I’m going, if I pay as I’m paying now and not use this card anymore, I will be debt-free in 9 months. I want to think of these 9 months as conceiving and preparing for a whole new life all together. After this, I will cancel my cards and never ever swipe plastic unless I’m buying air tickets.
9 months. Help me focus and reach this goal, dear Universe.

Got paid today and I paid some of it to my Citibank Premier Miles card, which I plan to stop using until I close it. Sending some money home tomorrow for my credit card bills in Manila. :) I’m going to finally close off the BPI bill! That leaves me with just the 2 Citibank cards to worry about. Go me!

Motivation #1
One of the things that motivate me to get this goal off my list is the thought of saving the money I have budgeted for the cards. Once I pay the cards off, this money which I have budgeted for the cards will now go to my savings account. :) Can’t wait.

I paid off the BPI bill today and I have my debt down to $50. I aim to pay it off completely before I leave so that I can concentrate on the two Citibank cards.
