Learn to dance Argentine tango

Update from the last 3 years:
Took lessons from Kace and May
Took lessons from Isaac again
Completed the workshops with Andreas and Isabel

Happy to say that I can now finally walk!!! Haha! Someone complimented me last weekend saying that I have the potential to become a really great dancer. :) I’m committed to practicing and dancing every weekend til I master my hiros and sacadas.

I’m so excited. :)

I have 2 new role models—Su Yen and Irene. I know them through the tango community. Both are older than me, both are extremely successful and both move with such grace when they dance tango. I love them. I aspire to move like them someday…

...wasn’t as easy as I expected it to be. I need to relearn how to walk…with grace!

I’m planning to continue with lessons after these workshops.

I’m starting tango lessons this weekend. I hope I absorb everything easily…and I really learn all that I can from Isaac’s workshops. :) I’m really excited about this.

I bought bronze shoes for tango today and I love them. I can’t wait to start with the lessons. :)

Watch me floor you in 6 months’ time.

I should start this week. Need to get some cheap shoes first, and then when I’m good enough, I shall reward myself with really good tango shoes. I decided to pick up on this goal again after watching Javier Rodriguez and Andrea Misse last night. There’s really something different in how a lady who dances tango moves…it’s just more graceful, more refined and extremely sensual. And that’s how I want to start moving!
