Random thoughts 5 months ago

While I am not at all discounting those that pull out the hair on their head, have you ever tried to side part an eyebrow to cover up a bald spot? or to pull them back into a pony tail or wear a hat lol? It just simply can not be done… You either have eyebrows or you don’t there is no disguising that fact. I unfortunatley do not and have not for more years than I can remember. I have pulled out my eyelashes and eyebrows for so long that my husband actually thought I was hairless naturally like some exotic cat lol. I finally told him what I have is Trich and gave him the website. Anyhow I too have the same fears of going to the hairdresser. I have more times than not had my hair shampooed by an over enthusiatic hairdresser who decides to wipe off every part of my body that may have gotten wet and yes you guessed it, rubbed off the eyebrows as well. So you sit there in the mirror horrified for the rest of your salon experience. Or even better yet they only wipe off one eyebrow and you have one wandering crayon mark on your forehead…. Nice real nice.

No eyebrows and summer heat….. The make up melts leaving you once again with partial fake brows(another good look)

No eyebrows for the artistically challenged…. I was drawing with my 6 year old nephew and while I am no artist by far I thought my tree and flower were fairly recognizable until he turned to me and said Aunt Tammi what is that? Now here is where the eyebrows come in…. This past weekend was really hot so my husband and I decided to go out on a boat fishing instead of sweating in the house. Once out on the water there was a nice breeze and we were out there about 4 hours. With the breeze etc the makeup stayed on.(good you may be saying, not really) We got totally burnt and well of course I was burned around the make up. I now have two white lines where my drawn on eyebrows had been and even further to my dismay I can plainly see that they were extremely uneven. You would think that drawing on 2 lines and or arches would be fairly simply….Apparently not! Guess my nephew was correct I can not draw. Now I guess I kinda understand why it costs 450.00 to have your brows drawn on permanently by an artist. Which I refuse to do.

I am now on day 9 of not pulling and working very hard at it hopefully this gives you a lil comic relief, you can laugh or cry I’ve done both and now just concentrating on trying to stop this one day at a time. Good Luck to us all.
