get a passport

It’s here! My passport arrived in yesterday’s mail (02-06). It took less than two weeks. Thank you, State Department.

Application submitted, paid for, and off to the The State Department.

I submit the application. I’ll stop at the post office this afternoon.

Now I just need a place to go.

01/23/08 My application is filled out and ready for delivery to the Post Office. Here’s hoping they accept my 30-year-old expired passport as ID, since I cannot find my birth certificate.

Got passport photos taken today. They’re not great, but I’d prefer to look better in person than in pictures, rather than the other way around.

This is a goal for the year 2008.

Unfortunately, it means I have to have my picture taken. I hate that.
