A few days after I wrote that entry about the Body Shop seaweed products being really good, my skin completely broke out. That’ll serve me right for spending stupid amounts of money without even trying it first. After that I gave their aloe range a go and it was even worse, so no more Body Shop for me. I think there’s just something about my skin that doesn’t agree with their products, because I know people who swear by them.
Anyway, it’s all about Lush now. I finally found a cleanser that doesn’t irritate my skin, although using it can get a bit tedious; it comes in a bar and you have to slice a little bit off and mix it with water every time you want to wash your face.
Ha, you know what though? Sometimes I wonder if my skin would be better off if I just left it the hell alone. Putting all this crap on it can’t be doing any good. I don’t get spots that often anyway (or I didn’t, before I launched the Body Shop attack on my face), it was the uneven tone and rough patchs I wanted to sort. Maybe that just means I need to drink more water or get some more vitamins or something?
