Nothing much to say about this, a traditional Irish stone fence.
The thumbnail doesn’t really do any justice to the photo, the full version is somehow… calming?

So here’s my first catching up picture. On a very grey day, cows near the Cliffs of Moher were on the move for pastures greener.
The day really was extraordinarily bleak, so this will be also my entry for the weather-challenge.
Hey everyone, old & new!
I’m officially back in 43T this week, missed you all! I originally took up this challenge to inspire me to take photos of something else than my gorgeous baby, but looks like we’re back to square one after the break..
And I’ve also got a question to the board: what do you think about “catching up -posting”? Is it expected/tolerable/desirable or is it just annoying/confusing/borderline-spamming? Mind you I’ve missed 8 challenges.. :)
All week I had been planning to take the bus into town (it takes 5 minutes in the bus) to take a picture for this week’s task but the weather has been so nice every day we’ve opted for walks instead.
I thought I’d take a picture of the Heart of Midlothian, but saw this on one of our walks instead.
Little ballerinas, as promised! Not a great shot but I like this a lot more than the “better” shots of the older ballerinas. Wearing your tutu in your head is always worth celebrating! :D
Allan, please pick a new topic for us!
And Michelle, thanks for posting the recap-list, I have one of them here, I typed it up and didn’t have time to post an entry to go with it. I would’ve done it myself if I had been home, so thanks! :)
My celebration entries are still on their way… I went to my god daughter’s ballet spring matinee, the little ballerinas were so cute but we were sitting too far back to get decent shots, but you might see one of them anyway.
Thank you for passing the honour this way, Michelle! I’m shamelessly going to exploit the list you posted last week. The new topic for the week is:
Celebration
Details: In a world of famine, poverty, war, and natural disasters it can sometimes be hard to stay upbeat. This week, let’s all find cause to celebrate. Devote your photographic energies to making us feel good about ourselves and our lives.
I’m going to be away again next week (going home to Finland with the baby!) but will definitely be posting something even if it was a bit late again. Our week usually tends to be a bit longer than a week anyway, right?
(The inspiring picture is borrowed from sarahjanesemrad.com)
I’ll crack the new topic open – here’s a sulky little boy’s mouth in dim lighting at bedtime. The curve of the upper lip is called “amor’s arch” in Finnish.
