my concern about acne is forcing me to do better and at least wash my face thoroughly (and brush and floss too!) before bed even if I am so tired I can’t see straight. But I have to let the water warm up forever, because I just can’t put cold water on my face. This has sometimes been a deterrent because I hate letting the water run so long.



I bought new pajamas 2 years ago

and I like them so much that I won’t wear them unless I’ve had a shower, so they stay clean. Sounds silly, and I still don’t shower every night, but there is added incentive. Typically I sleep pretty well when I do the night routine and when I don’t, I don’t. I’ve had several nights during the last few weeks when I was awake from about 2am to 4am. Trying not to develop that as a pattern.

My sensitive skin loves having the grime of the day washed off before bed. My teeth are ever-so-flossed and sparkly. Good night!



umm... 2 years ago

yeah. this happened for exactly one night in a row. And I have lots of good excuses, but my life is about to change. How about 3 days in a row? I think I can do this for 3 days in a row starting today.



I feel best when... 2 years ago

I have a shower at night, but I am often too lazy. I love to shower at night then put my PJ’s on over all that steamy goodness. I am much more apt to take care of my skin and brush AND floss when I have a shower at night. Sometimes I even blow-dry, which makes my hair much more manageable, but I am not ready to add this to the routine. If it’s wet, it’s wet (it’s not so cold now that I am worried about this.) Since I am working on short-term goals I will shower at night for the next 5 nights. Maybe that will be enough to convince myself that this should be my routine.
