we put 60 pieces of stained-glass jewelry into the kiln, and yesterday fetched them. 1 dropped out of my hands as I was drying it after washing off the fiberglass residue the kiln paper leaves. One of the ladies at the shoppe dropped another while admiring it, and it cracked in two.
but the rest turned out pretty darn good. Only a few lost their color. the best ones were those constructed over transparent base, whether clear or see-through color. the ones on opaque base glass mostly have a dull finish. I think we could fix that by either polish/buff, or by fusing again with a clear coverglass.

2 pendants and a set of matching earrings, deep blue with blue/gold dichroic overlay. pretties!
made some fused glass jewelry, but wanna do it different. got the glass, got the epoxy, got the propane torch, got the copper and brass wire, and all the requisite pliers.
need silly putty and armour-all.
