Set up my old Odyssey 2 in the basement

I’m back to trying to clean up the basement and have put the old TV on an old cart that used to hold my stereo. I’m planning on having a tiny little area downstairs with two chairs, the TV, and the Odyssey (and maybe a mini-shrine for the game boxes if we still have them).

Two things holding me back:

• have to find an outlet
• have to find the Odyssey (oops)

What good timing—my parents visited this weekend and my dad brought down an Odyssey controller in a box that he found in the garage or basement. So, that either means I have a working paddle to replace the broken one or that the broken one has already been replaced. Either way, good stuff.

Because there’s an old TV in the basement. And where else would one play an Odyssey 2 except in a basement on an old TV?

Before I can do this, though, I’ll need to fix the busted button on one of the joysticks. I’m not quite sure what this require.
