share all the interesting web comics i find

Even keeping up with reading all the usual faves, but I think I’ll poke back in and put another one into this goal now and again…

Minus is located at KiwisByBeat, and has alot of the same whimsy that not-included has, but none of the over-arching storyline regarding the laws of physics across dimensions and other things that I do not grapple with well.

Anyway. It’s a cute one, about a girl named Minus, who, I dunno what to tell you, has powers.

Interesting thing about this comic is it’s lack of advertisements and requisite shop-o-tshirts and such. I think there were prints for sale earlier this year, but no info about that is there now. I think this type of site, without all the extras and whozits, gives the comic alot of room to breath, not to mention the reader’s eyes and mental space…

Just some amazing stuff. The longer story arcs, especially the recent ‘HOB’ one, are filled with some intense images, languages, and high concept.

Love it.

Just wish it was a daily.

Today I’ve been enjoying Not Included archives, there’s an interesting story that starts somewhere near the beginning that reminds me of certain Greek myths of the underworld, for some reason or another. Oh yeah, English Major, that’s right.

I guess in some ways it’s a ‘typical non-typical’ comic, thusly using the word ‘typical’ twice, creating an inverse of ‘typical’, generally understood to be ‘interesting’.

I’ve read from the beginning up to #56, the current as of now is #126, so who knows how it changes. Does it still contain what charmed me in the beginning? I hope so.
