So I saw this article about libraries adapting to new times, one of them even having a DDR Tournament, and so I forwarded it to my sexy librarian friend and said if they had one I would come.
She said that they had one previously, but she hadn’t tried it, though she had wanted to.
My immediate reaction was to start in on the shit talk about how I would take her down (yes I used the italics in the email to her), if they had another tournament.
So now she is all back at me, saying, “It is TOTALLY ON!”
Whoops. My and my big competitive, shit talking mouth.
I’ve never even tried this…but damn, it does look like fun.
So. what’s the first step? Do I buy a console for home play I would probably go PS2, could get one used and cheaper, although the Wii is tempting… Or should I go out to an arcade and learn through bitter public embarrassment and defeat?
