Move to New York

i’m here! best thing about it is that it was go go go when I left LB and now it’s go go go as I arrive NY. I love it here. Must find a reason to STAY.

My fellowship program is only a 10-week summer school session, then it’s off to who knows where for the mentorship component. I’m really hoping I get to stay here…

I’m so close! I fly out May 29. I still haven’t figured out housing. I’m sure that’ll work itself out in the end.

I’m headed out to NYC tomorrow to scope out the scene over the weekend.

there is a scene in Dummy when Milla Jovovich talks about her upcoming 10-year HS reunion and she slams her hand across the dashboard and says damn we shoulda been in New York by now!

My 10-year HS reunion has since passed, and it’s time for me to move forward on this goal I’ve had since high school. It’s a little bit easier now, I think. I’m applying to grad school, but even if I don’t get in, I will still head out there by June 07.

This is the year…
