get a job

It’s been a long time since I have even written on here.
I’ve founded and am running a small non-profit and LOVE it.
Just doesn’t pay well….mostly cause it doesn’t pay anything.
But..I’ve started looking at getting a regular job again and will do whatever it takes until I get one.

Starting to feel a little more passion and drive for this goal now.

There’s a gig I’d like up in Maine.
had an interview with the consulting lead that seemed to go well.
He said he was going to try to get an interview with the client set up. Haven’t heard anything.
Prayin’ about this one cause I think it would be a good fit.

Have put in a ton of resumes (well, not a ton) and have gotten a few rejection notices back, but not a lot.
So far, there hasn’t really been any that I’m heart broken over. Iknow that I’m going to find some thing in the next couple months.
Hopefully by the end of the year, with a start date of 2010.
That would be ideal!
Want a job where I either travel to the same location for a while, or where I have to relocate.
Ready to try something new…

company that I’d LOVE to work for…new company being started by the guy that founded the best company I’ve ever worked for!
Definately would love to pick up some gigs there!!

Sent in resume, assume I’ll hear at least something back from them.

at a conference who is the COO of a company I’d like to work for. Will send him my resume tomorrow.
He asked if I’d rather be a consultant or a PM. I believe I’d prefer to be a consultant.
Tomorrow I will put my resume in…
then, I will also call the 2 companies that I believe has “disqualified” me because of the salary figures I have put in based on my online application.
