This Friday I should receive the last item I need for my professional registration application. I only hope that the first items I acquired aren’t now out of date!
I’ve been looking into travel. Virgin Atlantic & Air New Zealand offer “round the world” tickets which might be worth further investigation.
For example: London > Los Angeles > (surface) > San Francisco > Auckland > (surface )> Christchurch > Tokyo >(surface) > Hong Kong > London (or vice versa). How cool would that be?
The flights have to be taken within a year, so I could have an interesting journey out and hold a return ticket or half a holiday flight for any time in the following 12 months. Anyone done this already?

Registration
To practice in New Zealand I need to have professional registration. I thought obtaining the materials for my application would take a month: three months later, I’m finally getting the references & certificates I need.
It would be wonderful for my next update to be the news that I’ve sent off my application. Fingers crossed!

I was all set to move to NZ six years ago…then my life took a different turn, but now I’m back on track. All I need is a work permit, for which I need a job, for which I need professional registration, for which I need…well, you get the idea: I feel like a character in a nursery rhyme!
I’m giving myself the next three months to achieve this goal: by September I should be moving, or at least have a definite date. Optimistic? You bet!
