Do something new every month

I signed up for and started poledancing fitness classes!

I’ve never been on a boat… I’ve been on those “3 hour tour” boats, but not on those personal cruisers. So at the Boat Show, I got on four!

I actually bid on and won a diamond/aquamarine white gold ring valued at $1400 at a silent auction. Firstly, I don’t wear jewellery so for me to want something enough to bid $425 is a stretch. But I did! Just have to get it sized.

I organized by dvd collection by cataloguing it all!

I just won two front row tickets to a Backstreet Boys show… plus Soundcheck!!

I’ve beem a fan for over a decade and have never had floor seats… let alone front row!! So this will be an exciting first that takes place on Sunday!!

Its going to be a rough weekend, lol… I’m a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding on Saturday and the concert on Sunday! My feet are going to hate me :P

Next week I’m volunteering for the Niagara Falls Marathon. 3 days! First time I’ve volunteered for this run, and its been 5 years since I’ve volunteered for anything really. I know, thats not good! I’m going to make an effort to do more volunteering!

Not sure if this counts, but today I let a member at work buy me a drink and sat down with them after my shift. It actually felt nice, like I “belonged” to their group now. I normally don’t let anyone buy me a drink… so that was also different.

Today at work, we were shortstaffed, so I got to park our golf carts! I’ve never ridden one before! So that was fun!

I’m going to be helping with my friend’s Bridal Shower this Sunday… so that includes MCing. Well helping with that anyway.

I can’t remember if it was this month or last, but I boosted someone’s car at work! It was a male customer who couldn’t find any other men to boost his car! He said “of course, none of the men I ask could help me, but the first female I ask could!”. Made me feel good :D

Today I went to the movies solo! Caught the first showing of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 this morning. Surprisingly, the theatre was packed, but I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all!
