Unfortunately I couldn’t finish Stuff White People Like. It was a busy month for me and I only finished about half of it :(

The books I put on hold at the library always seem to arrive at the same time!! Right now I’m reading “Hamas vs Fatah: The Struggle For Palestine”. I’ve also picked up “Love Letters of Great Men”. The library also has “Stuff White People Like” awaiting me on hold.

I’ve tried. Brought two books from the library. The first I realized I already read, and the second was just too dull.

First book was Carville and Begala’s “Buck up, suck up… and come back when you foul up”. It was pretty much a “how to be successful” type book with common sense for rules. But a good read nonetheless.

It seems whenever I put books on request at the library, they all arrive at once! I’ve got another Carville/Begala read on my table and two more books arrived at the library today. I hope I have enough time to read them all!

I just finished reading an Elvis book written by Sonny West (former member of the “Memphis Mafia”; co-wrote “What Happened Elvis?”). I’ve read alot of Elvis books in my time… in fact, I’ve got two more on my table. Nothing really knew learned.

Since last week, I’ve read 3 books, and will have completed 2 more by the end of this week. I’ve forgotten how much I love to read. I used to read very often, and now its down to one every few months or so. So I’d like to get back into the habit of reading.

Any suggestions? I really like non-fiction, political satire, and sappy romance novels (i.e. PS I Love You). So far I’ve read DeNiro’s Rage, PS I Love You, and For One More Day by Mitch Albom. The other two books I will read this week are the other Albom favourites: The Five People You Meet in Heaven and Tuesday’s With Morrie.
