A door leading to a colorful past

A door where there wasn’t one in the Middle Ages when this Scottish castle was built. This door keeps the tourist off the steps…only a glimpse to days of old! An interesting path, nevertheless.

Scotland Blue

A stone barn in the countryside near Edinburgh, Scotland.

China's Temple of the Harvest

Many doors in China are red. This door is one of many at the Temple of the Harvest in Beijing. Red, red, red & lots of gilt and gold.

My favorite door ever

Oh, I love this door. Isn’t it perfect to look at? Blue like no other and perfect symmetry. Yup, I truly love this door.

Pink Door

A pink door in Taos. Unusual after all the blue.

Does this one count?

This is a photo of “no” door. A negative-space door. Taos Pueblo Church made famous in the lithographs of the late R.C.Gorman whose studio remains in Taos. Go visit and see where he worked. Inspiring!

Taos Pueblo, New Mexico

Taos Pueblo…dusty, spiritual, olden, mountainous, adobe, small rushing stream, homemade breads, beadwork, feathers, storm clouds, blue-eyed dogs, white walled church

WOW! What is this?

This door must lead to a very special place, right? Look at that door! I want to go inside. Do you? Looking for some inspiration? Write about or paint what you think is on the other side of this fanciful door.

Door to our favorite Santa Fe restaurant Cafe Pascal

Best place to eat EVER! You know how you are supposed to eat in lots of different restaurants when travelling to enjoy new eating experiences? Well, we ate at this restaurant four times in less than two weeks. How good was that?

Behind Door Number 2

Here is a very colorful blue door on the Oldest House in Santa Fe.
