well,

I not infrequently sleep during ‘pranayama’...
it is deeply nourishing sleep.
that can take place in the span of just 5 minutes…



begin again, but is it cheating? 4 months ago

6 days everyday, sometimes 2 hours a day.

day 5 complete.
doesn’t get at the regular schedule I was looking for…

at this point I think I need to call this NOT happened.
AND start again. I would like to start this once I am NOT taking 5 yoga classes a week. Starting the END of JUNE.



behind on my intention 9 months ago

Well, I haven’t been making the time for this that I’d like to.
I usually feel rejuvenated & alive after having done this AND just haven’t been making the time. Today I am starting again. Tonight one hour of pranayama, Tuesday another hour.



still not quite 'getting it' 10 months ago

I’ve been told you MUST study w/ someone who really knows what they are doing or you can really hurt yourself. some of the yoga folks seem to really bananas on that count. I’ve been through 2 pranayama courses.. & what I /do/ get is that if anything feels tense or breathless or just ‘wrong’—to stop, return to normal, & try again. I guess too, I’ve had most of the techniques demonstrated… Still, the power & mystery is, uh, mysterious.

SO—here I go, once again into the breach.
I’m going with this program.

Making my goal realistic means spreading it out over 3 mos.
That’s 28 sessions over 3 mos, that’s about 3 hours a week.

Today is day in the series, though I did days 1 & 2 in early February… I think I’ll start the 28 day count back at 0, though I’ll work on day 3 just for some sense of movement… I’m sure I’ll be able to improvise something for the last 2 days of the series…
