be closer to my family

Living with my sister and her family has been so great. Yesterday we had an awesome day together in the park!!

I called my Uncle today, This week I want to call my Dad, my Mom and one of my cousins.

This december I was able to really connect more with my neice who is 7. I took the time to play with her and bake cookies and such. Her mom asked me if I would help with her girl scout troop next year, which I am really considering doing.

I would especially like to be closer to my Dad and my brother. I already talk all the time on the phone with my sisters and with my mom but for some reason I have a hard time with the men-folk in our family. My brother is 17 years older than me and never shows any interest in my life. I want to be closer to him but I find it really difficult to communicate with him. I don’t even have his email or phone #. Right now I am living abroad and those two guys are the only ones in the family with whom I haven’t spoken to in four months. I am going home this week for the month of Dec so I would like to try to connect with them a little. Any suggestions would be great
