The garden was a lot of work to get set up this first year, but it was well worth it. I have tons of surplus in the freezer for the rest of the year, and next year I will try other varieties. I probably won’t start anything from seed next year, as there is an awesome heirloom greenhouse in Otisco (Old Thyme Loghouse).

It took many hours of back-breaking labor, but a fully organic veggie garden is now taking up 240 sq. ft. of my backyard!!!!
