write a book

to write something. It’s fiction, a novel. A bildungsroman. Behold the notebook in which I’m writing it. For the move to America I’m transcribing it onto my computer and so far it’s 9 pages, although I’m not entirely done transcribing, either. I’ve decided to go about writing it as I might write an essay, i.e. writing anything just to get the thing done, regardless of the quality of the prose. We’ll see whether that works or not.
