The biggest reason that I didn’t go to bed on time was that I didn’t care if I got up on time or not. Plus, I expend a lot more (positive) energy in my new job, so I am more tired at night and can go to sleep.



Wow, I suck at this 3 years ago

Sometimes I try harder than others, but it’s hard for me to do this consistently. I can be good for a week or so, and then I just stay up half the night and then … I’m back to where I started.

I’ll have a new roommate starting in just a few days, so that will help. I don’t want to start off on the wrong foot with this person, so I am sure that we will both be heading off to our respective rooms by midnight.

I feel so much better when I get 7.5 – 8 hours of sleep. And research says that people who get 8 hours of sleep lose weight more easily (another of my things).
