My girlf’ doesn’t have cancer. Well, she does, but at least one of the other potential cancers has been found to to be benign.
I wrote a wicked bookmarklet to help with SEO.
I created a friendlier challenge-response test (captcha thing) for a contact form.
Server which has been running very hot, has cooled down a little.
M&S Ginger snaps might even be better than McVitities Ginger Nuts. I must to a blind tasting.

Finding the huge spider in the bathroom for the second time (finding it the first time was scary but losing it was worse).

Finally have some internet connection, but the wireless is still not working.

Daughter didn’t wake up at the crack of dawn, but saved it for a few minutes later!
Beautiful day in London
Nice trip to the park, child hurt her foot early on running around the paddling pool, but soldiered on.
Got some work done on a programming project, and really broke the back of it at last. Turning it from a theory into an almost working system.
Feeling good about things.

For the really wonderful talk I had with the g/f in the morning.
For the partial view of the garden from the shower.
For a great shave with a razor blade a friend of mine sells (Derby Samurai) and raved to me about. It was good to drop him a line saying it was good and offer some constructive criticism of the product.
Seeing disappointment turning to pleasure as a rained out picnic in a children’s park became a camp in the front room when I visited my daughter.
For my old beaten up Qee which I am using as a gratitude rock.
I am grateful for Healy from Fulham netting twice in the NI win, and watching the England Germany game (even though we lost) esp. after watching Flushed Away (which features England Germany as a plot device)
Tubes coming swiftly to get me home.
For Garret Anderson getting 10 RBIs.
The AdWords book I’m reading, which is helping me to improve a clients account. It’s old, and some of it outdated, but the core of the knowledge is still excellent.

I encouraged people to read this article on plastics, our oceans and us, and people did!
I took a break and watched the Wallace and Gromitt film.
I did most of the Spanish and French sitemaps for a website
I’m going to bed at a reasonable time.
I reduced business expenditure – I canceled the rental of the PDQ as I haven’t really used it for some time and can use PayPal or Google Checkout for when I want to resume online e-commerce.

for the potatoes and “whatever” plant that are growing.

1. I’m grateful for a nice w/e with my daughter. Swimming, walks, a trip up the high street, all round nice time.
2. I am grateful that I was able to get my server working again after a freeze.
3. I’m grateful that I’ve started to investigate a new server!
4. Earnings remain up on last month on AdSense, I’m more than a dollar a day up on the average last month. Small fry to some, but a big improvement for me.
5. Being sensible and not getting angry.
6. Getting some sleep.
7. Water. Good lord, water is so good right now. I’m drinking gallons of it!

Getting some emails sent out for a client this morning, they actually complained about the one I sent last night, which was a shame. There was an error in their copy and complained that I didn’t send them a proof of the email, because then they would have caught their error! Okay, that annoyed me, but my apologetic email of “Socratic Irony” amused me and nothing blew up. I’m grateful I know when not to cut my nose off to spite my face!
Got some new friends on Digg, just randoms not people I’d friended first. I’ve dugg a few stories recently, so I presume people are seeing me in the “dugg by” column.
Above my target for AdSense for the last few days, hopefully it will continue and I can cross of another goal.
I’m grateful for making opportunity out of a problem.
For finding out that my daughter’s library books are due back tomorrow (so I can return then and not get fined).
For fresh clean water
For going to bed before 1 AM !

1. Getting quite a bit of work done in the evening, preparing several emails for a client to send out.
2. Watched a film (grateful for entertainment & the TV) as I …
3. tidied the bedroom (grateful for the roof over my head)
4. I have an offer of some SEO work. (I normally do web development.) I enjoy some aspects of SEO work a great deal, the analysis, the campaign aspect of it. I’m very tempted to do the work and create a full SEO plan, I know it could take over everything.
5. Going to bed without hearing the dawn chorus. Okay, it’s 1:30, but that’s so much better than the 5 and 6 AM it’s been recently. (Grateful for the rest).
