get rid of bad friends

I still have a few bad friends I need to get rid of. But quite a few of them got rid of me. It was a terrible experience, the way it happened, but it made me see how awful of friends they were in the first place. I hope it’s as easy for me to dump bad friends as it was for bad friends to dump me.

I’ve needed to do this for a long time, or at least try to talk to them about what I need from them in order to consider them a decent friend. I’m scared though. What is a bad friend now used to be a best friend and I don’t want to lose them completely, even if it is necessary.
