So, I’ve been going for a more natural approach as I’ve had negative reactions with commercial products. I recently had a really bad breakout last year (probably my worst) from being stressed. Usually it’s just mini bumps on my forehead and blemishes but this was full on acne. Since I got a lot of scarring from it this time too.
I’m into essential oils for everything else so I figured there had to be some that were good for acne and it seems like I found them! I’ve been using rosemary, lemongrass, and grapefruit essential oils (I use grapeseed oil as my carrier oil) on my face (a different mix for the day and for the night) and washing it off with African Black Soap afterwards topping it off with rose water (only in the mornings). I’ve still got some scars but there are little to no bumps anywhere now. That took about 2 months so I can’t wait to see what my face will be like in another two.

but it’s more like little bumps. They aren’t really that bad or much of a problem but they kind of make my skin look like concrete (or maybe more of a smoother english muffin). The bumps only show up around my nose and the sides of them along with the middle of my forehead and the sides of them as well. Thing is, the bumps aren’t always there and the amount isn’t always the same so I really don’t know what they are exactly. What I do know is that more appear when I get stressed or become physically irritated by something. So, a couple of times I tried cleansers and they didn’t really seem to do anything for me and I already drink lots of water while eating well. But, recently, I’ve been just keeping a hot wet cloth over my face during my shower and they seem to be going away. I’m just going to try it out for a while more to see if there is less and continue if they do. However, I still wish I knew exactly what these bumps are since they definitely aren’t pimples. Meanwhile, my skin maybe smooth as marble one day and the bumps will inhabit my face the next. Me=Confused.
