Well, my boyfriend bought me a horn. (I know, insane, right?) But I’ve barely played it since then. My biggest problem is finding a place I feel is private enough to do so, since my playing ability has really really deteriorated over the years. :(

I played French horn while playing trumpet in middle school, then switched to horn full time in the middle of tenth grade. I haven’t done band in college, and if I transfer where I want to go, there won’t be a college-sponsored band to participate in. That means it’ll be up to me to find access to a horn and to practice it, maybe to join a small ensemble or a band/orchestra outside the college. I love it. I feel like there’s something missing when I can’t play my horn.
